April 14, 2020- COVID-19 update

Thank you for visiting While the Bloomen team remains healthy, the COVID-19 Pandemic, and the need for extreme safety measures has changed how we operate. 

We are working with new suppliers, and although we have limited inventory we still have a range of floral arrangements, houseplants and fruit baskets for delivery. 

Staff Safety Practices:

To continue to participate in the vital practice of social distancing we only have strictly limited the number of staff in our fulfillment centre, and they will not have any in-person interaction with the couriers. Staff are wearing gloves and engaging in frequent hand washing. 

Sanitizing Schedule:

Based on advice from Health Canada we are regularly cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces and areas that experience traffic. 

Contact-free delivery:

The couriers are maintaining their sanitizing schedule, wearing masks and gloves, and doing contact-less delivery. Drivers are now dropping the arrangement off at the front door and either ringing the bell or calling the recipient’s number during delivery. The courier will wait a safe distance from the door to confirm receipt. 

We will adjust these practices as needed to conform to the regulations of various buildings.
